Rotring Furniture Template, Scale 1:100

Rotring Furniture Template, Scale 1:100.

A furniture template is a sheet of drafting plastic cut with the standard symbols an architectural plan needs — beds, seating, tables, sanitary fittings — all at one fixed scale.

Drawing furniture freehand costs time and makes a plan look uneven. With a template every sofa on the drawing is the same sofa, at the correct size for the scale you are working in — which is what makes a plan read as professional rather than sketched.

• Standard architectural furniture symbols on one sheet
• Fixed scale — the symbols are correct only at that scale
• Use with a technical pen; keep the template clean of wet ink
