Paper-Wrapped Charcoal Pencil, Hard

A paper-wrapped charcoal pencil, hard grade — instead of sharpening, you pull the string to peel back the paper and expose fresh charcoal, so there's no wood and no shavings.

The hard grade lays down lighter and lifts more easily, good for laying in a drawing before you commit with a softer, darker grade. Charcoal needs a toothed surface.
